Either your attempt to intimidate the powerful Fire Elemental fails and instead provokes its wrath, or your clumsy handling of the forge leads to a catastrophic malfunction. The consequences are equally devastating. The angered Fire Elemental, infuriated by the failed attempts, attacks you with an explosion of fiery wrath. In the meantime, the forge goes out of control, spewing molten metal and fire, thereby creating a dangerous environment. The flying sparks and glowing metal lumps cause extreme heat, which threatens you in addition to the furious Elemental. All group members receive one point of fire damage. Then fight the Fire Elemental (M37).
